PREPARATION OF FUTURE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHTRS TO INTRODUCTION HEALTH SYSTEMS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION TO THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Abstract

The article examines the question of preparation future physical education teachers to introduction health systems by means of physical education to the educational institution. The health status of young schoolchildren was considered and the need for introduction health technologies into the modern school was proved. The level of preparedness of bachelors of physical education for introduction of sports and health systems to the educational institution was examined. Materials and methods: analysis of scientific literature, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, mathematical processing of the obtained data. The experiment involved the fourth-year students, new physical education teachers, in the amount of 30 people. A questionnaire to the participants of the experiment according to our own level rating of personal preparation for health work with schoolchildren was conducted. The analysis of the obtained results showed average (20–65%) and sufficient (20–60%) preparation of students for the specified type of professional activity. At the same time, students, participants of the questionnaire, were asked to develop, and model health events (tasks) to achieve the designated goal. The analysis of executed work showed an average level of preparedness in 35% of students, and a sufficient level only in 25% of cases. The results which were presented by students showed that the declared level of preparedness of the students did not meet the level with the actual level of preparedness before conducting health events It is defined that bachelors of physical education are not able to objectively evaluate the level of their own preparation for the introduction of health work in school. Advisory and methodological support for introduction of health work is the most problematic for future physical education teachers, as nearly a quarter of students recognized and showed a low level of preparedness.
