STRATEGY FOR IMPROVING DATA LITERACY IN THE FIELD OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS

Abstract

Relevance of the problem. The sphere of physical culture and sports is a strategic participant in the process of forming a healthy and active nation, establishing Ukraine in the international arena, and creating a successful state in the world community. The current state of state policy is characterized by intensive European integration processes in all sectors of the economy. All vectors for the implementation of state policy in the field of physical culture and sports represent an array of data, the competent use of which ensures effective management of the development of the sports industry, organization of increasing the level of physical activity of the population, the use of sports infrastructure, and the inclusivity of physical culture, sports and health services. The strategy for increasing literacy in the field of data in the field of physical culture and sports is the basis of a competency-based approach in the process of training and personnel management of physical culture and sports organizations. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate the essence of a strategic approach to improving data literacy in the field of physical education and sports. Research methods: analysis of special scientific and methodological literature, document analysis, system analysis, organizational analysis, system-functional analysis. Research results. Analysis, processing, safety of use and management of data in the field of physical culture and sports are constants of its development in the conditions of the information society. Digitalization of the processes of physical education, recreation and sports activities involves the creation of information projects for this process, support for digital start-ups and pilot projects, provision of public services in electronic form, regulatory consolidation of all types of digital interaction of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, subjects of the sphere and stakeholders, development of standards and platforms, portals. Knowledge and information are used as their own economic resource in innovative activities in the field of physical culture and sports. The strategic directions for improving data literacy in the field of physical education and sports are: study and analysis of international and national legislation in the field of data; study, research and use best practices for standardizing high value data sets; study of national norms and regulations in the field of open data; the use of innovative lifelong learning technologies for education seekers, researchers and practitioners in the field of physical education and sports (conducting courses and seminars accompanied by tutors, expanding the content to fill training courses), the use of newsletters and systems.
